I had a great time at Crooked Nook MI's Backyard Book Fest at The Backyard of Kalamazoo Saturday and I received one of the greatest compliments I've ever gotten -

Toward the end of the event, someone came up to my table and told me they had specifically sought out my booth because they kept seeing people unwrap Blind Dates with my logo and get so excited about what books were inside.

I take pride in what I wrap. I spend a lot of time researching the authors, reading reviews or reading the books themselves, and choosing books that I genuinely think people would like and that I'd be happy to get in a Blind Date if I were the one purchasing it.

So, thank you to everyone who has chosen my Blind Dates. You're supporting someone small and local being able to surround herself with books and book friends (the dream)!

Come on out to Welter’s Folly at Journeyman Distillery! We’re all here until 8. You can grab a drink, play yard games or putt on the course, and listen to live music. Find us by driving around the back of Journeyman or you can walk through the main building and out the back door.
