Can we please normalize cute shoes that are actually comfortable again?! 👏

We’re headed to New York City, which means LOTS of walking… and I knew I needed shoes that were stylish but wouldn’t have me regretting my decisions halfway through the day. 😂

I found these Naturalizer shoes and I’m officially convinced we don’t have to choose between fashion and comfort anymore. A cute outfit deserves shoes you can actually enjoy your day in.

The MOST COMMON thing we see instantly change a room during our interior design consultations… the RIGHT curtains.

Curtains aren’t just a finishing touch — they can make your ceilings look taller, your windows look bigger, and your entire home feel more custom.

A few designer curtain tips we always follow:
✔ Hang them high + wide
✔ Choose panels that almost touch the floor
✔ Use lined curtains for a fuller look
✔ Pick pinch pleat drapery for that timeless designer feel

Sometimes it’s the small details that make your home finally feel pulled together. 🤍

Here are our favorite drapery tips:

✨ Hang HIGH + WIDE
Place your rod closer to the ceiling (or at least 4–6” above your window frame) and extend it 8–12” past your window so your windows look larger.

✨ Get the right length
We love panels that lightly touch the floor or hang about 1–2” above. For most 8 ft ceilings, we typically use 96” panels.

✨ Our favorite designer look:
• pinch pleat style
• lined panels
• linen or linen-look fabric
• drapery rings/hooks
• soft neutral colors that last for years

It’s nail day, and I’ve got to be honest… I still love a fresh set of nails.

Yes, sitting in the salon chair takes time, but there’s just something about having your nails done that makes you feel a little more put together. Whether I’m styling a room, filming content, or running errands, a fresh manicure always gives me an extra boost of confidence.

Anyone else feel like a good set of nails just makes the whole week better?

I went shopping with my mother-in-law for an upcoming trip and found what may be the ugliest shoes I’ve ever seen. 😂

The Steve Madden Calico leather flats stopped me in my tracks because all I could see were deer hooves. 🦌 I genuinely need to know if I’m being dramatic or if you see it too!

Now the Steve Madden Grove rhinestone flats? That’s a different story. ✨ I loved them so much I brought them home with me! They’re cute, versatile, and perfect for dressing up outfits while still being easy to walk in.

I also grabbed some Dr. Scholl’s inserts because if we’re going to be walking all over on this trip, these feet need all the help they can get. 😂

So be honest…
