Christmas in Stillman Valley 2022

Hi everyone! I’ve decided to not do the contest again this year. When I had started the contest, there was nothing like that going on and I thought it was a great idea. I was hopeful for big turnouts and to motivate Christmas Spirit throughout our area. Unfortunately with the Lions Club doing their own competition last year, there was even less interest in mine. It’s hard to compete with someone who can afford to give out bigger prizes. I hope you all have a great Christmas and maybe we can try again next year.

‼️‼️ Today is the last day to enter the contest ‼️‼️ As of right now we only have one submission 😞 We need atleast 3 for there to be a contest.… All you have to do is submit one photo of your already decorated house.… The prize this year is $50.

Photos can be submitted anytime before the 11th. So far I haven’t received anything 🥺. Reminder - this contest is separate from any other contest being put on by the village or Lions Club. My rules do not state that you cannot enter multiple contest, so why not try for multiple prizes lol.

Decoration Rules:

1 - Must be anywhere between the train tracks in DJ and the Nordic Woods Subdivision in Byron.

2- Must be willing to include your first or last name and your address. Your name won’t be posted ( unless you win ) but your address will. We want people to be able to drive past your house and see in person.

3- Only one photo submission will be accepted, so take your best shot.

4- Pictures must be submitted before 9pm on 12/11 to qualify.

How it works:

I will post all photos by 12/14. Voting will start as soon as I post and will end 9pm 12/21. The photo with the most likes, will win! Everyone can keep track of the likes and I will post the winner on 12/23.

Prize:

At least $50. Could be more, but not less!

I hope we get a great turn out and can’t wait to see some awesome houses! Have fun 💜

‼️‼️Hi everyone! It has been brought to my attention that The Lions Club will also be putting on a house decorating contest this year. This is completely separate from mine. I will be posting more details towards the end of the month but rules and dates will probably be similar to last year. Can’t wait to see everyone’s decorations
