Once you get high-quality, nutrient-dense food all you have to do is try not to ruin it. One way to not degrade the quality of your food is by using the clay cookware we have at ToxyFree. In his pre-clay cooking days, my husband remembers how he could taste the aluminum, stainless steel, or Teflon (depending on what kind of pan he used) in the food. We care about the health of your kitchen, your food and your body. We recently "retired" our beloved carbon-steel pan for display in the store so we could show how beautiful it looks after many years of use. We started the new one and it has become "non-stick" quickly after seasoning it. My husband uses the frypan almost everyday and doesn't miss having a non-stick pan at all. As a matter of fact, he much prefers the carbon-steel because he's confident that he isn't getting any toxins in his food or in the air from the high heat which can degrade the Teflon coating.
