I was able to slip in several painting experiments this week! This was a piece I found in Tom’s booth off an old cabinet. Took some effort to get it clean and scuff sanded. Experimented with a Fusion Mineral Paint wash in color coal black and then some bright fusion colors to go for a folk art vibe. May do a dark aging wax. I’m on the lookout for some cool brass hooks or may add some neat vintage glass pulls!

What do you think?
Sane and wax age or leave it vibrant?
Brass or glass hooks/pulls?

Either way it was a fun project and I’m glad to get this piece out of the project pile!
