I studied at Fond DU Lac tribal and community college. Under the direction of two talented artists. Stirling Rathsack and Karen Savage-Blue. Both helped and guided me along my creative path. A path I am still learning about and hopefully will never stop learning from. I accomplished my associates in fine arts degree. even with my mental health diagnosis I accomplished much. thanks to my teachers,
family and friends. As well as a support network of therapists, social workers, and other agencies I have traveled through some very dark times. Mental health recovery was achieved in 2010. After first time independence, a first car, and a college degree. doing all this in my 30s. Now living in Oklahoma I find myself helpless to the financial needs of my beloved companion animals. I live alone, with a black corgi named Dezi who is the dog I always dreamed of having while living in group homes in my 20s. I also have two cats. My adopted ginger and white boy named Magnus. and my new boy a black cat once owned by my sister named Jupiter. he is my current motivation to create art. he has GI issues and is costing me more then I realized. so to avoid bei g helpless to illness when it comes to there medical care I am going to paint. possibly covering there costs. I love them so much. I have no children, and I made a point not to due to my illness. so they are all I have, they make my apartment my home. I hope what I create will bring joy to others. just as my furry babies have for me.
