What a fabulous three days at The Needle Works! There is just nothing better than spending a weekend surrounded by stitchers who are excited to learn, try new things and add a few more tricks to their stitching toolbox. Three full days of teaching, stitching, laughing and talking threads…pretty much my idea of a perfect weekend!

One of the very best parts was finally getting to meet so many Stitch Lab stitchers IN PERSON! After seeing those familiar faces in little Zoom boxes month after month, getting to sit together, stitch together and actually hug each other was such a treat.

A huge thank you to everyone who came to spend part of the weekend with me and to The Needle Works for having me. Austin, you were fabulous! 🤠

It’s finished…or at least I’m finally making myself stop. 😂

I had such a great teaching weekend at Savannah Needlepoint! Thank you to everyone who stitched, laughed and made it such a fun couple days. I always come home inspired after spending time with fellow stitchers.

As for this guy…I told myself I was done, then I added a few more beads to the tree. 🌲✨ Now I’m officially calling it finished and sending it off to the finisher before I’m tempted to add even more!

A little holiday weekend reminder that donating blood is one of the easiest ways to make a real difference. ❤️🩸

I was overdue for my donation and just hadn’t managed to fit it into my schedule. Life gets busy, but that’s not a great excuse…I need to do better. So today I checked it off my list, and it feels good knowing this could help save someone’s life. If you’ve been meaning to donate too, maybe this is your reminder. Blood doesn’t take a holiday, and the need is constant.

Are you ready?!? Seems like you are by the sheer number of messages I’m receiving. Stitch Lab Volume 2 shops are already taking registration signups for 2027.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO VOLUME 1 FIRST. Each volume is just a different group of threads…remember this is all about the threads! You can give these shops a call or check out their websites for the registration link.

Volume 1 shops will be announced SOON! So be on the lookout for that post.

It feels so good to actually be home for more than a minute! I have a mile-long to-do list and more work waiting than I probably want to admit, but my heart is still full from last week’s travels.

I had the opportunity to go to one shop that was brand new to me and return to another that I hadn’t visited in quite a while. Both reminded me just how lucky I am to do what I do. Thank you to everyone who welcomed me, stitched with me, laughed with me and made me feel so at home.

Now it’s time to unpack, catch up, design, prep and get ready for the next adventure… but I’m feeling incredibly grateful for this little stretch at home and for all of you who make this crazy, wonderful job possible. 💛
