Took this one ❤️🩷❤️ over to Dr. Aaron Rosen (Director) to see my newly installed “painting” in the sculpture garden as we completed another trip around the sun, with our birthday week coming to an end today. June 10 + 16 respectively. Always thankful for her ❤️, unwavering support, and smile 😀 as we navigate this crazy thing called life.

Studio Sunday and have been enamored with the color of water in a bunch of photos and sketches from kayaking around Vinalhaven a few years back while visiting our friends Kitty and Matt. A 12”x12” now and so nice to scale up a little bit to play more with brush and color 🎨 🪨 🌊 🌲

Studio Friday and although this year has been a struggle in the health dept. I have been painting to keep my spirits up. Being out in nature has always been my best medicine so this will suffice until I can be out in it for real-sy. 🌲 💨 🌊 Lots of smaller studies in the works so I can hit the wood shop and make some shaped panel magic, when my body is able.

NOT in the studio THIS Tuesday and yes I have not posted much recently, but a busy January-February getting my ♥️ back in line 💓 and if all goes well in 7-8 months will complete the second procedure and be back to “normal”, 💪 a new normal. Anyhow, a great way to pass the time and not forget where I was in the studio last year has involved Allegra and I hanging a few pieces in the house to live with for while. Now, not many have a 17+ foot wall for that dang Bulwark (Schoodic) I painted for last summer but we snuck the center panel into the entry to live with for a bit on the newly painted walls 😉. Interesting to see the triptych broken up 🤔 .
