For this week's TGIF Challenge, our theme is a beautiful photo of a sunset! I decided to use several products from the Beautiful Ordinary Life Suite Collection to create my card. The Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper has soft watercolored images that reminded me of a gorgeous sunset.

I also used a couple flowers from the Floral Flight Accents. But, rather than use them as see-through laser images as intended, I backed them with watercolored paper. After gluing the laser cuts to the paper, I carefully cut the watercolor paper slightly smaller.

My card also includes a sentiment created from the Banner Sayings Bundle. See my blog post today for even more details: https://swimminginstamps.com/tgifc582-inspiration-challenge-with-beautiful-ordinary-life-suite/

Our theme for this month's Stampin' Fancy Friday is "Inspired By Water." That was an easy one for me, because watercoloring is my favorite coloring technique! My card features the Fern & Flora Bundle and Sending Salutations Stamp Set. Virtually everything on the card is watercolored except a few Basic White die-cut to break up the colors.

For the background, I painted a wash with Pretty Peacock, Lost Lagoon, and Golden Glow ink. Then, as the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper dried, I added clear water splatter for interest. I pre-painted watercolor paper for the ferns and flowers with Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Peaceful Pine, and Berry Burst ink and then used it to die-cut the shapes. Then, I heat embossed the center fern in white and watercolored it with Peaceful Pine ink. The butterflies are watercolored with Berry Burst and Blackberry Bliss ink.

I have a new online class featuring the Fern & Flora Bundle. The class will be held via Zoom on Wednesday & Thursday July 1 & 2, 2026 at 6:00 PM Pacific Time. (We'll make two different projects each evening for a total of four.)

This is such a beautiful bundle! It's got everything -- intricate images and die-cuts, a label, a background stamp, and lots of great sentiments. It's also got die-cuts to build the sweetest little flowers. Some of the class projects use colors from the suite and some are entirely different to show the overall versatility. Also, each project includes fun techniques such as using Shimmer Brushes or White Gel Pens, stenciling, ink swiping, ink blending and watercoloring. I think you're going to love it!

See my blog post today to get all the details on how to sign up, what you'll get from me, and the supplies you'll need at home to make the four class projects. https://swimminginstamps.com/new-online-class-fern-flora-bundle/

I designed this card for this week's TGIF Challenge. We have a color challenge using Smoky Slate, Night of Navy, and Granny Apple Green. I was struggling a bit with this one, so I decided to keep it simple. I watercolored paper in an ombre design in the three colors and then used the paper to die-cut the fern/leave shapes. I also watercolored the background and then dry embossed it with the Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder.

For this month's Color Fusers Blog Hop, we are featuring the 2026-2028 In Colors! I designed these cards using the Scalloped Blooms Bundle and coordinating Boutique Blossoms Bundle. I had just received my new Shimmer Brushes and was so excited to play with them. I used Hydrangea Hue, Barely Blush, and Golden Glow to highlight the shadows on the flowers.

For some of the flowers, I first heat embossed them in white on Basic White Cardstock and then watercolored them. Afterwards, I added highlights with the Shimmer Brushes. For other flowers, I die-cut them from Basic White Cardstock and colored them first with Stampin' Blends Markers. Then, I added the highlights with the Shimmer Brushes. The photos don't do the cards justice. The shimmer is beautiful.

I also took away some color with a Color Lifter Stampin' Blends Marker to make it appear like dew drops.

The Heirloom Boutique Bundle is great for weddings, anniversaries, and scrapbook pages. I love the beautiful floral images! I designed this card for this week's TGIF Challenge. We have an inspiration photo as a theme, and I chose to focus on the colors and general layout of the four watercolored sections.

I stamped and embossed the florals in gold on Fluid Watercolor Paper and used the following ink colors on my card: Strawberry Slush, Barely Blush, Soft Sea Foam, Garden Green, and Lemon Lolly. For this month's Stamping Station Blog Hop, our theme is "Bold & Beautiful." When I think of bold and beautiful, I think of the vibrant Scenic Coast Designer Series Paper (DSP), so I decided to create a project using one of those prints and the coordinating Sunset Coast Bundle.

I added layers to my lighthouse using the back of the leftover DSP and Basic White Cardstock. Then, I added subtle shading with Night of Navy and a little touch of Strawberry Slush ink. I also used other prints of the DSP and more leftover pieces to die-cut the fence, clouds, starfish, and clam. Finally, I used a White Gel Pens to draw foam on the crashing waves and used a net die-cut as a mask to add a little texture to the background of the card. For this month's Stampin' Fancy Friday , we have a color theme. We can use any of Stampin' Up!'s colors including old, existing, or new. I decided to pair a new In Color - Barely Blush with some existing colors including Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, and Mossy Meadow.

I wanted to make a special wedding card, so I chose the Simply Beautiful Bundle, but I also wanted to step it up to make it more current, so I added some frames in the background using the new Phrases & Frames Impressions!

I stamped the floral images with Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow ink on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and then painted a messy watercolor embracing the slight bleed of the inks.

The new Impressions dies work with the Impressions Plate in your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. The trick is to liberally spritz the cardstock with water first, then cut them like normal, then keeping the paper in the die, flip over the die and run it through the machine again with the Impression Plate. (Instructions come with the plate for the right sandwich.) The wet paper loosens the fibers of the paper and really allow the dies to add distinct embossing.

We have a great sketch for this week's TGIF Challenge! I used the Untouched Landscape Stamp Set to create a birthday card. I stamped with darker shades of ink and then colored with lighter shades of Stampin' Blends Markers to make the mountains, trees, and foreground more colorful. My inspiration was from a trip to Crested Butte, Colorado during the wildflower festival last summer.

See my blog post today for details on the colors I used and links to purchase these products from my online store: https://swimminginstamps.com/tgifc576-sketch-challenge-with-untouched-landscape/

Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop for May. This month. we have a stunning color combination of Strawberry Slush, Bubble Bath, Granny Apple Green, and Basic Black. It's perfect for florals!

I used many products from the Moonlit Flora Suite Collection on this card including the Fern & Flora Bundle, Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder, and Dewdrop Embellishments.

I stamped the floral and butterfly images with Memento Ink and colored them with Stampin' Blends Markers. I also colored the Strawberry Slush fern on the front of the card with Bubble Bath Stampin' Blends. Then, I cut out the ferns from different sides of Granny Apple Green Two-Tone Cardstock and blended them with Granny Apple Green ink for shading.
