Okay, this video is quick, a little wobbly, and kind of disorienting… 🫪🫠😂 but hear me out.

Because sometimes you don't need the perfect video to capture the moment. 💡

You just need to capture the feeling. 🥹✨

We had just finished staging, did a quick walkthrough, and shared a snippet of what's been done — and the client loved it.

And honestly? Goosebumps.

Because that's what we're really after — not just making a home look good, but making the space feel good.

The kind of feeling that makes a buyer walk in and think:

"Wait… I can actually see myself living here."

That's the value of thoughtful, intentional staging. It helps the rooms make sense, highlights what makes the home special, and gives buyers a vision for how they could live in the space.

So yes… the video is shaky. 😂
But the feeling? That was crystal clear. ❤️🏡

Pretty gets attention.
Emotion creates connection.
Strategic staging helps sell the story.

And don't worry… 👀
A more polished look at this transformation is coming soon. Stay tuned! ✨

A lot of sellers think staging is just about making a home look pretty.

And sure — that’s part of it. 🙃

But after doing this for more than 8 years, I’ve realized that’s really not the point.

The real goal is helping a buyer stop seeing “a house” and start picturing their life in it.

Where would our sofa go?
Where would the kids play?
Where would we actually eat dinner?
Where would everyone end up gathering?

Maybe it’s the creative mom in me, but when I walk into a space, I naturally start imagining all of that.

How would my family actually live here?
How would we move through the space?
Where would everyone naturally end up?

And when a home is completely empty, sometimes it’s just really hard to see all of that and the disconnect typically happens within seconds of walking the home.

Those little details can help a buyer start feeling like the space could actually be theirs.

Honestly, that’s why I never really think of staging as just decorating.

It’s not about changing everything or making a home look brand new.

Sometimes it’s simply about noticing what’s already there… and helping people see what it could become, for them.

And after all these years, I still love that part. 🤍

And yes… this is me just finishing a meeting with a client, looking like I’ve got it all figured out. 😂

The car seat in the back says otherwise.

Some days I feel like I’m doing it all.
Most days, I’m just doing my best.

And guess what?

Just like staging, you don’t always have to have everything figured out. Sometimes you just have to work with what you’ve got, find what makes sense, and bring it together in a way that makes people excited to call it their own. 🤍

Thoughtful design. Real impact. 🌿

There’s something about earthy tones that makes a space feel instantly more grounded.

Warm neutrals. Soft greens. Natural wood. Woven textures. Subtle contrast.

Nothing has to shout for attention. Instead, the room feels layered, calm, and connected — the kind of space that invites you to slow down and stay awhile.

That’s what thoughtful design can do.

It’s not always about making a bigger statement. Sometimes, the biggest impact comes from creating a space that simply feels right.

Earthy. Warm. Intentional. Timeless.

The “One Thing” Rule

Before you add something to a room… try taking one thing away. 🤍

This is one of those little staging tricks that works surprisingly well.

When a space feels “off,” our first instinct is often to add:

Another pillow.
Another piece of décor.
Another plant.
Another piece of furniture.

But sometimes the room doesn’t need more.

It needs editing.

Try walking into the room and asking:

✨ What is the first thing I notice?
✨ Is there one item competing for attention?
✨ Does the furniture make the room easy to move through?
✨ Is there enough visual breathing room?

Then remove one thing.

Maybe it’s the extra chair.
Maybe it’s a small collection of décor.
Maybe it’s the oversized plant in the corner.

Step back and look again.

Good staging isn’t about filling every corner.

It’s about creating enough intention that the eye knows where to go.

Less clutter. More clarity. Better impact.

And sometimes… the easiest room makeover is the one that costs absolutely nothing. 😉

Small Changes Big Impact Part 2 ✌️🙃

It’s amazing what a little intention can do to a room. 🤍
Before we added the warmth, the art, and the texture, this space was just a room. Now? It’s a place where you can actually picture yourself curling up with a cup of coffee on a Sunday morning.
That’s the real magic of thoughtful staging. It’s not about making a space look “untouchable” or perfectly stiff—it’s about making it feel lived-in, loved, and effortlessly inviting. When someone walks through the front door, we want them to feel an immediate sense of home.
Because good design isn’t just about what you see. It’s about what you feel. A design that invigorates the buyers to take the next step. 🛋️✨

A Little Hello 🤍

It’s been a little while since I’ve popped on here… and honestly, I’ve missed it.

We’ve been busy behind the scenes, doing what we love, working in homes, moving furniture around, making little tweaks, and occasionally standing in the middle of a room thinking, “Okay… what is this space trying to tell me?” 😂

After doing this for over 8 years, I still love how much the little things can change a space.

Sometimes it’s moving a sofa.
Sometimes it’s taking a few things away.
Sometimes it’s adding a little warmth, changing the lighting, or simply giving a room some breathing room.

It doesn’t always take a big makeover.

Sometimes a space just needs a little thought behind it.

And I think that’s what I love most about staging. It’s not about making every home look the same. It’s about seeing what’s already there, finding what makes the space special, and bringing that out.

So… hi again. 🤍

I’m looking forward to sharing more of the little things we see, learn, and do behind the scenes at FIB—hopefully giving you some ideas you can take into your own home, too.

Thanks for still being here. It really does mean a lot. 🏡✨

A day late, but never short on gratitude. 🤍🕊️

Now that the Mother’s Day festivities have settled, I wanted to take a moment to celebrate the women who truly make a house feel like a home. 🏡✨

This kitchen we designed felt like the perfect backdrop for that reminder. More than just creating a beautiful space, we wanted it to feel warm, welcoming, and genuinely lived in—the kind of kitchen where conversations linger, little hands help with baking, and everyday moments quietly turn into lasting memories. 🤍

To the moms in my personal life—my dearest mommy, cousins, aunties, and grandmas—and to the incredible clients and colleagues I’m blessed to work alongside every day: thank you.

In the staging and design world, we focus on the details, flow, and feeling of a home—but it’s the love, strength, wisdom, and care you pour into your spaces that truly bring them to life. Motherhood is one of the greatest examples of grace and resilience, and watching so many of you show up for your families, your dreams, and your businesses is genuinely inspiring.

Motherhood was never meant to fit into just one day on the calendar. It’s found in the everyday moments—the seen and unseen ones—and that alone is always worth celebrating. 🥂✨

Wishing all the amazing women in our community a peaceful, productive, and joy-filled week ahead. You are the heart behind so much beauty, warmth, and purpose in this world. 🤍

This office shed is still a work in progress, but you can already feel the focus and creativity it will bring. We kept key pieces in place—like the desk and that woven ceiling shade—and crafted a fresh vision. This is a space designed for productivity and growth—working perfectly for what’s needed.

In this cozy laundry refresh, we took a classic heirloom cabinet and gave it a new life! With the rise of combo washer-dryers, small spaces can still shine—and every piece can tell a story. Stay tuned for more beautiful, intentional space-saving design!
