โผ๏ธUPDATE 6/1
Thank you all who continue to support this mission! We would really love to continue showing off our downtown in good ol western style!
Please keep sharing this before tomorrow's City Council meeting (6/2).
We have decided that if the City chooses not to alter this fee structure this season, the Moon Hitch wagon will refrain from operating within the city limits unless invited to participate in community events.
Keep us and all other micro vendors who this effects in your feed and in your thought!
Thank you for all your love!

โผ๏ธUPDATE 5/21
If you have signed the petition, support this cause, and most importantly are directly affected by this cause, please come to the City Council meeting on June 2nd @ 5:00pm to have your voice heard.
IMPORTANT: This is NOT a war, nor a point fingers and blame moment, but instead an open discussion and proposal of a better middle-ground solution. We will be proposing a categorical system that keeps all vendor-types in mind, versus the one-size-fits all approach that is currentlyin place.
If you plan to attend, please send Moon Hitch Wagon Co. a PM pledging your attendance.

To the residents, business owners, and supporters of Downtown Buffalo:
Moon Hitch is asking for your voice and your support for positive community change.
We believe Downtown Buffalo is strongest when it is filled with vibrant small businesses that bring people together, create local opportunity, and add to the character and culture of our community. Our goal is to operate in a way that is respectful, responsible, and contributes positively to Buffalo, Wyoming.
As a small seasonal business, we are currently working through the challenge of meeting the $750 vendor fee required by the city to operate within Buffalo city limits. With an operating season of about 3โ4 months each year, upfront costs like this can be difficult for small and emerging businesses to manage.
We also recognize that Moon Hitch is part of a broader group of local vendors, pop-ups, and small businesses who share similar experiences. Many are working hard to bring energy, creativity, and economic activity to downtown Buffalo, and all of us benefit from a system that helps small businesses start, grow, and stay active in the community.
With that in mind, we are respectfully asking community members to join us in signing a petition encouraging the Buffalo City Council to review and consider lowering vendor fees for small and seasonal businesses. The goal is to help make it more manageable for local entrepreneurs to participate, grow, and continue contributing to a thriving downtown.
This effort is about supporting a welcoming environment where small businesses can succeed and where Buffalo continues to grow as a place that values local ideas, local effort, and local investment.
If you believe in a strong, active downtown supported by small unique business ideas, we would greatly appreciate your support in signing and sharing the petition below.
Thank you to everyone who has encouraged us and supported local business in Buffalo, WY. We are grateful to be a part of this community and hopeful for what we can build together.
With Respect,
Ashlee Kintzler
