I overheard someone in the shop say how much they loved our Lokta papers, but they didn't know what to do with them.
The official answer is that these big, beautiful sheets are sold as wrapping paper. But there are lots of ways to use them in your art and crafts:
• Bookmaking – covers, endpapers, journals and handmade books
• Collage & mixed media – tear, cut or layer pieces into artwork
• Decoupage – boxes, trays, frames, furniture and other surfaces
• Cardmaking – backgrounds, accents and envelope liners
• Lampshades & luminaries – the thinner papers are gorgeous with light behind them
• Framing – because some of them really are pretty enough to hang on the wall
So, there you go. If you’ve admired them but had no idea what people actually do with them, now you know!
