Happy Friday!!! Some good things to pass on. Cara will be in the shop on Tues. Oct. 27 for your framing needs. She will be here by 11:30.
Great news on our trunk show with Grace Notes Fabrics. We will be showcasing her fabrics on Sat. Oct. 31.....yes. Halloween
We will be in the church where we have our retreats, but we will be in the actual church itself. I will try to have balloons or signage so you know where we are. The hours will be from 11 to 4. No stitching this time, just Corrin's fabric. You can still park in the back lot where we usually park. There is something else going on in the Fellowship Hall, so don't think that's where we are..
I will be cutting fabric starting this weekend, so will let you know what's new. Have a great weekend.....don't forget....bring me a toy for Toys for Tots & I will take 10% off your sale. Marcia

Good Saturday morning stitchers. Wanted to fill you in on some designs we've received this week. Mill Hill has released some new kits & the Christmas themed kits for this fall. Other new releases from Primrose Cottage, JBW, Sister Lou Stitches, Primitive Hare, Scarlett House, Happiness is Heart Made & the 2026 Christmas Ornament Magazine. I also have stocked some very cute designs for perforated paper...great for a quick gift. I am still waiting on other color options with perforated paper but I do have 14 & 18 count in white.
I also received fabric from Under the Sea & Grace Notes. Fox & Rabbit has shipped but not in as yet. Don't forget....if you bring in a new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots I will take 10% off your purchase. Organizers say we really need toys for the older kids age 10 to 13. Happy October & much cooler temps.I have quite a few things on order due in the next few days so will send you notification when they arrive. I am a drop off again for Toys for Tots this year. I have been so happy to collect for the Marines for at least the last 30 years. This year I would like to offer up to you lovely stitchers.....bring me a new, unwrapped toy & I will take 10% off your sale. This organization has been very special to me all the way back to my video store days. We all remember how special our Christmas was to us as children, parents or grandparents...no child should go without a new toy to have a special day. Thank you for helping a great group....the Marines are the best for always hosting this great cause. Marcia

Good evening....these designers have been added today....Yasmin's Made With Love, Luminous Fiber Arts, Kathy Barrick, Plum Street, Blue Flower, Needle Bling, Shakespeare's Peddler and October House. I know there are more new charts coming, so stay tuned....also have fabric on its way...will update when it arrives. The weather is turning cooler, there's football so the husband's are happy....we can stitch away.....Marcia

Good Wednesday morning....had a change of date for our framer, Cara. She will not be here this Friday, but will be in the shop on Tuesday, Sept. 29. She hopes to be here around 11:30 if you have any pieces you want to bring to her. Another date for you to bookmark. Laura, our finisher, will need your pieces by Nov. 1 if you need it by Christmas. Good luck to all stitchers who have pieces in the Lampeter fair....looks like the weather will finally cooperate for you.

Goog morning stitchers!! I want to thank all who attended our "day of stitching", and hope some new stitching friends were made. We had beautiful weather & plenty of food. We had a few hiccups but all is well.
I want to thank Ethel for designing our fun fall kit. Her new designs were a huge hit & I need to re-stock already. Thank you to Margaret for having a great husband who held down her fort while she was away. He did a grand job. Debbie & Fran had their beautiful project bags & many pin sets for the season. Yes, to those who were there, Fran is fine. I want to also thank my team of helpers for setting up & taking down. Leslie. Diane, Julie, Ethel & her sidekick Bryan.. I can't find enough words to thank my right hand helper, Karen. She always has my back & is the best organizer ever. My son, Andrew, daughter-in-law, Sarah & my grandson Kellan for picking up the many trays of food needed for our luncheon.. And last but not least the best husband ever, JR. Always ready to run errands and puts up with my ups & downs. Side note .... we celebrate 50 years this Dec....quite a ride. Thank you all for a great day & I will update soon with hopefully a date for a Grace Notes trunk show....stay tuned...Marcia

Good Wednesday evening....wanted to let you know the designers I received this week.
Heart in Hand, Primitive Hare, Crafty Bluebonnet, Pansy Patch, Jardin Prive, Cotton Pixels, Robin Pickens, Needlework Press & Anabella's. I am expecting some other arrivals beginning of the week so will update when they arrive. I did start cutting some the new fabric arrivals today and hope to cut more tomorrow. I know I will be busy Friday getting ready for the retreat, so will hit the fabric hard next week. I am assuming you should be able to park on Main Street tomorrow.....they did FINALLY finish painting the parking lines this evening....feel free to call me if you want before heading to the Burg.....AGAIN....thanks for your patience. For crying out loud!!!. No parking signs are up again for parking spot painting!!! They said Main shouldn't be closed all day...just til they paint. PLEASE call me 717-687-8951 before you head to town & I can let you know if you are clear....very, very tired of this....Marcia

Good evening friends....still working on my inventory, but I did want to update on what I do have out....Hello From Liz Mathews, new kits from Canadian Stitchery, Mindful Needle & I hope to start cutting the new fabric from Barefoot Needleart & Desert Taipan from Fox & Rabbit in the next day or two. I need to get the new charts out first. I have a date for the next visit from our lovely Maryland framer. She will be in the shop on Friday, Sept. 25 if you want to drop anything off for her. She should be here around 11:30. I will post the new designs in the next few days....it is a bit busy getting ready for the retreat, but we are working on it. Take care & hope to see you soon.
