The day is just starting here, and the word Welcome says it all. We need to welcome another day,a chance to make things better, perhaps bring a bit of happiness to someone's life. Sometimes by just smiling at someone, opening a door, listening for a bit to their issues, all can help make it a bit better. Remember not everyone is able to afford the bare basics. So let that put things in prospective for you. Share life! Give hope, so yes I say welcome to the new day.

Okay now that we have that over with, finally, ( I'm sure I'm just wishful thinking), but nonetheless! Let's try to be nicer, kinder please. Let's try to heal not divide. Its done! Now let's hopefully get on with our lives. This honey bee was gathering pollen, on this brilliantly lit dahlia. Not caring who was mayor, council member, president. And yes I asked him!!! He was doing his part in our lives garunteeing pollination of future food , fruit for us. And yes Flowers for pure simple joy of living. Have a great day. Stop and see me soon. Happy fall y'all.

Good morning, its shaping up to be a great day. I wanted to talk about this sign that has sparked a lot of interest. Rich Orndorff is someone I feel will be a good mayor. I feel that he loves his hometown,comunity, and in spite of his personal issues , can and will be a great mayor. I've known him for over 30 years. Hard working, listens to both sides of issues. Donates his time and is available to people who wish to speak and discuss issues. Especially, able to agree to disagree, and still go on peacefully. I feel that his ability to help us grow and preserve our town is a very real capability of his, and a great opportunity for us as a community. Please no negative nasty remarks, this is today not years past. We have to forgive, practice patience, and move forward. No ones perfect. Period. But as a person I feel he has changed, therefore I feel he is the person for the Job. Thanks for reading this. May God bless our town, our country in these times.

A big shout out to the Success of the Grill Cheese and Tomato soup festival. It was a great turnout. So many customers are coming back looking forward to next year. It was great having the event extended down King Street. Including all the businesses on our end of the street. Heartwarming to see so many people enjoying themselves, walking freely up and down the street. Old friends, neighbors meeting up to chat and catch up. Families making memories with their children. Especially wonderful in light of our current political events looming on our horizon. Not one political conversation did I hear in my shop. So congratulations to Brian and staff who Spent hours of time coordinating,and all others that helped put this event on. This was an event to be proud of. Lookingvforward to next year. Happy fall y'all!!!

We are Here! E. Pearls is open for the Great Grill Cheese and Tomatoe soup festival. Live music , crafts ad shops to explore. We have plants and fall wreaths, and yes we snuck a few Christmas in as well. Open till 6pm. Come see us. Happy Fall y'all!!!

Hello, we seem to have a hive of honey bees that have swarmed into this crack at my neighbors house. Anybody keep bees or know how to investigate to keep from just killing them. Docile small honey bees. Please contact me. For any ideas. We would like to save the bees. Thanks in advance.
