Preserving the View. Protecting What’s Inside.

Fall in the Poconos is all about the view—and with the leaves beginning to change, the last thing you want is a window film that takes away from it.

For this project, Finest Shade installed SunTek Ultra VISION 70% window film, providing powerful solar protection while maintaining an optically clear appearance.

The result? You can still enjoy the panoramic mountain views with virtually no visual change to the glass.

Benefits include:

* 50% reduction of the sun’s heat
* 99% UV protection
* Helps protect furniture, flooring & interiors from fading
* Optically clear film that preserves the view
* Re-sealed window corners for a cleaner, true panoramic appearance

With the beautiful Pocono foliage just around the corner, now is a great time to protect your interior without sacrificing the scenery.

We recently completed this window treatment installation in a beautiful home addition, featuring Alta Window Fashions roller shades with Agile Lift Cordless operation.

The cordless system provides smooth, easy operation without cords or chains. Simply lift or lower the shade and stop wherever you want it—the shade stays right where you leave it.

For a clean, finished appearance, we used a custom-painted metal fascia designed to blend with the existing dark window trim and woodwork. When the shades are raised, the fascia practically disappears into the surrounding trim, maintaining the clean architectural lines of the room.

The result is a combination of style, privacy and comfort while still allowing the homeowner to enjoy the beautiful views when the shades are open.

📚✨ A Fresh Look for the Clymer Library ✨📚

We recently completed a window treatment upgrade for Clymer Library, replacing outdated 1-inch blinds with modern cordless roller shades.

The library selected Spectra Screen 5% fabric in a beautiful Apple Green color after seeing samples on-site and instantly falling in love with how well it complemented the existing green and blue finishes throughout the space.

Not only do these new shades enhance the library’s appearance, but they also provide practical benefits by reducing solar heat and glare while still allowing natural light to filter through. The result is a more comfortable environment for visitors to relax, read, and enjoy everything the library has to offer.

We’re proud to help create spaces that are both functional and inviting, and this project is a great example of how the right window treatments can transform a room.

📖☀️ Comfortable readers, reduced heat, and a fresh new look—all with a simple, elegant roller shade solution.

✨ Custom Details Make All the Difference ✨

This project featured beautiful cordless woven wood shades from Alta Window Fashions, selected for their soft, sheer appearance and natural texture.

Our customer had a very specific vision but struggled to find a retailer who could confidently deliver the look she wanted. The challenge was that the window openings were too wide for a consistent single-shade solution, yet using multiple shades within each opening would have resulted in several visible headrails and a less refined appearance.

Our solution? Custom-built window dividers with a subtle beaded edge designed to blend seamlessly with the existing trim. This created the appearance of individual window openings, allowing each woven wood shade to stand on its own while maintaining a clean, finished look throughout the space.

The result is a beautiful balance of function, design, and craftsmanship that highlights both the shades and the architecture of the windows.

Most rewarding of all was seeing our customer’s reaction. She was absolutely ecstatic with the finished project and amazed by the attention paid to every small detail.

📸 It’s projects like these that remind us that great window treatments aren’t just about covering windows—they’re about creating solutions that bring a homeowner’s vision to life.

A project where function truly meets purpose.

We recently completed a large-scale installation for a 150-room inpatient facility in Massachusetts, featuring a combination of roller shades and horizontal blinds throughout the building.

In healthcare environments, details matter. These window treatments provide essential light control, durability, and ease of use for both staff and patients. To further enhance privacy, we also installed frosted film on nearly all windows—helping create a more comfortable, secure setting without sacrificing natural light.

Projects like this go beyond aesthetics—they’re about supporting care, comfort, and everyday functionality.

If you’re managing a commercial or healthcare space, the right window solutions can make a meaningful difference.
