📚✨ A Fresh Look for the Clymer Library ✨📚

We recently completed a window treatment upgrade for Clymer Library, replacing outdated 1-inch blinds with modern cordless roller shades.

The library selected Spectra Screen 5% fabric in a beautiful Apple Green color after seeing samples on-site and instantly falling in love with how well it complemented the existing green and blue finishes throughout the space.

Not only do these new shades enhance the library’s appearance, but they also provide practical benefits by reducing solar heat and glare while still allowing natural light to filter through. The result is a more comfortable environment for visitors to relax, read, and enjoy everything the library has to offer.

✨ Custom Details Make All the Difference ✨

This project featured beautiful cordless woven wood shades from Alta Window Fashions, selected for their soft, sheer appearance and natural texture.

Our customer had a very specific vision but struggled to find a retailer who could confidently deliver the look she wanted. The challenge was that the window openings were too wide for a consistent single-shade solution, yet using multiple shades within each opening would have resulted in several visible headrails and a less refined appearance.

Our solution? Custom-built window dividers with a subtle beaded edge designed to blend seamlessly with the existing trim. This created the appearance of individual window openings, allowing each woven wood shade to stand on its own while maintaining a clean, finished look throughout the space.

The result is a beautiful balance of function, design, and craftsmanship that highlights both the shades and the architecture of the windows.

Most rewarding of all was seeing our customer’s reaction. She was absolutely ecstatic with the finished project and amazed by the attention paid to every small detail.
