sive research, analysis, and consultation, all of which play into the overall design — this is all done to ensure we produce a space that you are fully satisfied with. Kasta Design Company was founded and is owned by Ingela Mohlin Barton. She left her hometown in Växjö, Sweden in her mid-twenties to pursue her dream of design work in other countries. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design in London at Rhodec International School for Interior Design in 1991. Ingela has worked and owned companies in Singapore (for 10 years); Perth, Australia (for 2 years); and now in Houston, Texas for the last 12 years. Interior design is her true passion, and she finds her work very rewarding and satisfying. Having lived and traveled internationally her entire life, Ingela has a unique way of reading and understanding people, as well as their interior design needs, dreams, and goals.

As we look forward to 2021, I would like to take a moment to wish my clients, friends, and family for opening your homes to me and allowing me to continue to grow my business during such a turbulent and trying year.

We had to opportunity to spend time at home more than ever, road trip to remote locations, and cherish the importance of family and friends more than ever even if it meant doing so via FaceTime.

I wish you and your family a healthy, happy and bright new year. Here’s to all of the new adventures on the horizon.

Brick fireplace is original and was white washed to complete the overall serene calming feel of this bathroom.
