There are some days in the life of a businessāand a buildingāthat deserve to be remembered. Today is one of those days.
Today marks Carter Westās final day at the helm of this charming old MFA Feedstore. At the end of a very long day, the keys to this beautiful, history-filled building will officially be handed over to us.
Carter West, we simply cannot thank you enough.
Thank you for trusting us with a place that you have poured so many hours, so much hard work, and so much of yourself into. Thank you for seeing something in Parsnippidy JunkināCo that made you believe we could be the next caretakers of this wonderful old building.
We know today will be bittersweet. Throughout the day there will be boxes carried out, memories stirred up, familiar corners looked at a little longer, and probably a few quiet moments when the magnitude of closing one chapter and beginning another really sinks in.
We see that. We respect it. And we are incredibly grateful to be trusted with what comes next.
Thankfully, this isnāt goodbye. Carter will still be part of this old feedstore, with two spacious booths of his own, so we arenāt letting him wander too far!
But tonight, when those keys change hands, something very special happens.
One chapter of the old MFA Feedstore closesā¦and the Parsnippidy chapter officially begins.
Carter, from all of us at Parsnippidy JunkināCo, thank you for the trust, the hard work, the long hours, the laughs, the memories, and most of all, for handing us the keys to a place we already love so very much.
