And honestly, this is why I love working with Matt. I can throw an idea at him, and he never settles for what I give him—he always has to take it one step further and make it even better. So lava rocks and lighting effects finished off the final look perfectly.

The layers, the details, the finish… this one turned out pretty dang cool. But honestly, you just need to see the final touch in person. 👀🔥

And there’s a pretty good reason to come see it Saturday night—good food, good company, and an even better cause. ❤️

These custom knife awards have gone to some pretty incredible events. We’ve had the opportunity to make them for chefs in the military, Heinz corporate events, restaurant franchises in NYC, and countless corporate BBQ competitions.

And now, one of our knives is headed to a BBQ event at a luxury resort campground! 🥩🔥

We absolutely love seeing our work become part of these events and knowing that something we created will be awarded to someone who earned it.

But we have to admit… after making knives for all of these amazing BBQ events, we’d really like to attend one ourselves someday! 😎🔥

Maybe one day we’ll get to trade the workshop for a weekend of great BBQ, good people, and a little friendly competition!
