One of my favorite things about designing homes is incorporating pieces that actually mean something to the homeowner. She saved this flea market light fixture for YEARS waiting for the right home to use it in 🥹

Sometimes as a designer, our job is to bring the vision our clients have in their heads to life. At the end of the day, we’re creating THEIR dream home, not ours (although I’d take this kitchen any day) 🤍

And honestly…I’m so happy with how this cute kitchen turned out.

The Ingold Master Bath ✨😍

Classic does NOT have to mean all white 👏🏼 The blue tile with the stained cabinet combo is just sooo good. Truly, chefs kiss.

We originally fell in love with a super pricey tile, but ended up finding a dupe for the blue and then found a similar floor tile in the clearance section…score!!

Honestly this is one of my favorite parts of my job. Helping clients get the look they really want while finding ways to make it work within their budget without sacrificing the overall feel of the space. 🫶🏼

She said, ‘I want this exact kitchen.’

And showed me a inspo photo she loved… and she wasn’t budging.

And honestly? I get it.

But here’s the thing, my job isn’t to copy another designer’s work and call it my own…it’s to take what you love and translate it into something that works for your home, your layout, and your budget.

So that’s exactly what we did.

We kept the overall feel she was drawn to,
moody cabinetry, warm wood tones and planking, soft neutral backsplash, brass details…

…but reworked every selection to fit her real-life numbers.

Different materials.
Different price points.
Same feeling.

And now she has a kitchen that looks like her Pinterest board… but was built for her life.

Sometimes clients come to me knowing exactly what they want, and that’s okay.

In those situations, I get to step in and help with the function, the layout, and the selections that actually work for your world… all while keeping your stress low and the vibes high! ✨🤍

The dreaded guest bedroom…

We’ve all got one room (or 2 or 3) in our house we just close the door to and pretend it’s not there.

Can’t wait to get my hands on this room one day but for now she’s a sad glorified storage room. Tell me I’m not alone. 😅

Working from home is great… until your setup just isn’t working for you! 👀

I didn’t realize how much my desk was slowing me down until I switched to a standing desk. Being able to move throughout the day, get steps in, and not feel stuck in one position has made such a difference (especially when I’m working on client designs for hours + trying to get those steps in).

It’s one of those things that seems small but actually changed my whole workflow!! Plus ya girl needed a standing desk that doubled in style and function!

Want to know a secret about this bathroom? We used all inexpensive tile. Yes. I know. How?! Playing with pattern and pairing with the right pieces (heart eyes for those custom vanities). That’s how! 😍
