People might not realize it, but this hobby isn't just a two-month-a-year project—it’s a year-round passion. Throughout the year, I attend gatherings with others who love creating these displays just as much as I do.

This year, I attended the Florida Mega Mini in Plant City, FL for the first time. The headliner for our Polar Express-themed dinner was Mike Williams, a comedian from Florida. I wanted to share his closing remarks from the end of the event, just before everyone headed home to their respective corners of the world to continue working on their displays.

In this clip, Mike talks about how holiday lights gave him hope during a dark time in his childhood. He puts into words exactly why I do 'Christmas on the Hill.' I want to bring that same hope to our community—to give everyone a moment where they can forget their worries and just be present in the magic of the lights.

This is why we do what we do. ✨

Who says the lights only turn on for Christmas? 🎭✨

We’ve traded in the red and green for some Purple, Green, and Gold! One of the best parts about having these permanent lights is being able to celebrate every occasion—and right now, it’s all about Mardi Gras on the hill. 💜💚💛

Whether you’re heading to a parade or just enjoying some King Cake at home, we’re sending a little "Laissez les bons temps rouler" (Let the good times roll) your way from the display!

What do you think of the Mardi Gras look? Should we keep the colors rolling for more holidays this year?

And just like that, the final note has played and the lights have dimmed on our 2025 season. 🎶✨

Over the last 17 days, we’ve shared the highlights of our favorite sequences, but nothing beats the feeling of seeing you all lined up, radios tuned in, and seeing the smiles on your faces. That is exactly why we do this!

To every neighbor who stopped by, every person who shared our videos, and every child who danced along to Bluey or the Snowflake Shuffle—THANK YOU for making Christmas on the Hill part of your holiday tradition.

But don't think for a second that we’re slowing down! Even though the display is tucked away for now, the planning, prop upgrades, and new song ideas for next year are already in motion. 🛠️💡

Mark your calendars: Christmas on the Hill will officially return on Thanksgiving Night, 2026! 🦃🎄

We can’t wait to show you what we have in store for our 2026 season. Until then, keep the holiday spirit alive!

The work never truly stops at Christmas on the Hill! 🛠️✨

Here is my current view. We aren't quite to the stage of testing sequences or programming the show yet, but the "off-season" is the perfect time for some much-needed prop upgrades. Every bulb you see here is getting a little extra attention to make sure the display shines brighter than ever this year.

Believe it or not, there are only 313 days until Thanksgiving night when the hill officially flickers back to life! It sounds like a long time, but when you’re hand-tuning props and prepping new surprises, those days fly by. 🎄🙌

Opening night will be here before we know it! Who else is already counting down with me?
