Today’s the day! Bridget from Cowgirlblues is here! 🧶🎉

Our Color Mixing Workshop is almost booked (one spot left), but everyone is welcome to stop by tonight from 7–8:30 pm to browse the beautiful yarns and samples Bridget brought all the way from South Africa!

Our talented teacher Karen has finished her Step by Step Sweater by Florence Miller, knit in Circulo’s Aussie yarn! You may recognize this sweater from a post a few weeks ago.

This beginner-friendly, top-down raglan pullover is a wonderful first sweater project and easy to customize. Karen made it her own by adding a turtleneck and using an Italian bind-off for a polished sleeve finish.
Karen has even inspired several of her students to knit one of their own! Stay tuned for photos of their finished sweaters.

This week’s Friday Finishers are all about accessories! 🧶 Each of these beautiful projects would make a wonderful holiday gift!

Stephanie knit the Basket Weave Cowl from the Cowl Series by Denton Foreman using Blue Sky Fiber’s Woolstok Tweed Aran. One of four easy designs, she enjoyed it so much she can’t wait to make another!

Linda made the Sophie Shawl by PetiteKnit using Noro’s Akari. The big sister to the Sophie Scarf, this beginner-friendly shawl is soft, stylish, and perfect for fall.

Evan wanted to make something special for her daughter, so she and her knitting teacher designed an original scarf using Juniper Moon’s Cotton + Merino Chic. She’s modeling her beautiful creation, and it looks fabulous!

Our October Blue Sky Fibers Trunk Show features beautiful samples made with Woolstok, Woolstok Tweed Aran, and Woolstok Light. We will be highlighting several throughout the month, starting with these two!

Berkeley Blanket by Virginia Sattler-Reimer is a colorful, cozy garter-stitch blanket with a neat I-cord border. Knit in Woolstok Worsted, it’s a relaxing project for advanced beginners and perfect for TV knitting. Choose your favorite colors and make it your own!

Monticello Wrap by Crystal Hiatt combines Woolstok Worsted skeins and a Woolstok Bundle for an oversized wrap featuring ribbing, stockinette, garter, and lace, with playful pops of color at each end. A wonderful project for advanced beginners looking to explore new stitches resulting in a gorgeous wrap.

We’re so excited to welcome Bridget, founder of Cowgirlblues, to Wool & Grace next week!

Bridget is on a whirlwind East Coast tour all the way from South Africa, and Wool & Grace will be her final stop!

Join us Monday, October 19th at 7 PM for a fun Color Mixing Yarn Tasting! Experiment with colors, yarn weights, and textures to create beautiful combinations. Just a few spots remain, so sign up online or call the store!

On Tuesday, October 20th, our regular classes will continue, and Bridget will have a chance to meet our students.

We have two Monday needlepoint classes, and starting NEXT Monday, October 19th, the store will also be open for shopping from 12–4 pm! Come visit!

This week, we’re celebrating two fabulous needlepoint finishers!

Shelley completed her very first project—an Anne Fisher Blue Medallion eyeglass case! We are so proud of her beautiful work, and this one is staying with her. Great job, Shelley!

Margherita finished these two lovely ornaments with beautiful stitching and attention to detail. What wonderful keepsakes and the turkey is ready for Thanksgiving!

Congratulations, ladies! We can’t wait to see more finished projects.

It’s a sweater celebration for this week’s Friday Finishers! 🧶

Carol finished her Mellow Mood Top by Julia Piro from our Spring Knit Along using Simplicity Spot. A great first sweater with easy-to-follow instructions and beautiful texture. Fabulous job!

Blake made the stunning Rosie Yoke Blouse by Le Knit using Knitting for Olive Merino and Soft Silk Mohair. The delicate rose yoke is absolutely gorgeous!

Sue knit the Otto Sweater Man by PetiteKnit for her grandson using Blue Sky Fibers Sweater. He requested a handmade sweater, and judging by that smile, he LOVES it! What a special gift.
