Friday Finishers: Kids Edition! 🧶💕

First up, Patty made Teddy the Simple Baby Pullover by Erica Kempf Broughton using Simpliworsted. She added colorful stash yarn and three different buttons for an extra-fun twist!

Next up, Wendi is already thinking holidays!She made the Little Red Nose Sweater by DROPS Design, swapping the red background for a versatile tan, plus a matching Happy X-Mas Hat by Marte Helgetun—all in Sueno DK. So cute and the reindeer are adorable!

Last week in our newsletter, we featured Blue Sky Fibers Sweater, a W&G favorite that’s perfect for so many projects. This soft and versatile yarn is 55% superwash wool and 45% organic cotton, with 160 yards per skein and a beautiful range of colors. It’s a wonderful choice for baby garments, hats, blankets, and more.

☀️ One Last Week of Summer at W&G! 🧶
Just a reminder—this is our final week of summer hours and drop-ins! Join us today through Saturday from 10:30–12:00 for a knitting drop-in. Cost is $25, so bring your project and come stitch with us!

Our regular store hours and fall classes return September 8th. If you’re registered for a fall class, this week is the perfect time to stop by, pick out a new project, and get everything you need before classes get underway.

And don’t forget about our Summer Stitching Adventure! Get those last photos and raffle tickets in—the deadline to submit tickets is September 8th. We can’t wait to see where your stitching took you this summer!

🍂 Happy September! 🍂 Fall is almost here at Wool & Grace, and we’re ready for a new season of stitching!

This is our last week of knitting drop-ins, Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30–12:00 for $25. Our 8-week fall class session begins September 8, and there’s still time to join us! Check out our website or call the store to find a class that works for you.

With classes starting next week, things will be busy! This week is the perfect time to stop in, pick out your fall project, and get everything you need before classes begin. 🧶

We’re still on summer hours this week, 10–4, with our regular hours returning next week.

We can’t wait to see everyone and start stitching our way into fall! 🍁🧶

Join us today for our last summer Needlepoint Drop-In from 12–1:30 pm for $25. Bring what you’re working on—or come pick out a new project to get ready for fall!

Our Fall Needlepoint Session begins September 14 (we are closed on labor day), and we still have spots available. Choose from 11:15 am–12:45 pm or 1–2:30 pm. The 8-week session is $192 and is a wonderful way to stitch, learn, and spend time with our needlepoint community.

Summer may be winding down, but our Friday Finishers are still going strong!

With the “kids” heading back to school, we have another Emotional Support Chicken by Annette Corsino to share. Victoria’s daughter, Audrey, is off to her freshman year at Lafayette College, and Victoria sent her off with the perfect hug from home. She made chickens for Audrey and two of her friends, with Audrey’s, of course, stitched up in Lafayette colors! And be sure to check out the second photo—the adorable tag Victoria made for Poppy is the perfect finishing touch. ❤️🐔

Next up is Terri, who finished the Workday Scarf by Sue Flanders using Emma’s yarn. This is the kind of project every knitter loves—relaxing garter stitch with just a hint of lace, simple to knit and beautiful to wear.

Our Summer Stitching Adventure has less than two weeks to go ending on Labor Day, and our W&G community is making the most of every last bit of summer!

This week, the knitting came along for the ride (literally) to Woodlawn Beach on Lake Erie, Wildwood Crest, Union Station in DC, a race in north NJ, and Mt. Washington in New Hampshire. From beach days to train travels, our projects really do go everywhere!

A big thank you to Simone, Mary, Alex, Amanda, Karen, and Ellen for taking us along on their adventures. Keep those photos coming—where will your stitching take you next?
