If you are having a difficult time with honing in on your style, relax for this is what we do. We are trained to work alongside of you. Years of working with an architect, education and exposure to art and architecture are where we pull our strengths from.

Simple cozy rules to get started:
Buy as much authentic art and forage free flowers from your garden. When remodeling, look into history or European design for inspiration (not so much Pinterest for it force feds trends) and be determined to add to your home mixed metals, real wood and handmade tile. These tips will make your home come alive.

When working on a design project, give yourself time to partner with an experienced professional. I was taken aback when the client's cabinet company design didn't match our initial conversation. Her vision was that of a Carmel style back bar; from the beach to a dark-cozy Speakeasy. It was heartbreaking to see the disconnect. Our mutual friends and the client's lovely nature made it impossible for me to walk away. I feel blessed to be doing what I love and to have the opportunity to support others.

To say, "It's a whirlwind" is an understatement. The market is a dynamic fusion of creativity, inspiration, and warm hospitality. It feels like a fun reunion where you bump into peers, reps, and fellow shop owners from your neighborhood.

Design trends I've observed:
1. All-white is out; texture and warm colors are in. (If you have an all-white kitchen, don’t despair. We can help you.)
2. IKEA simplicity is giving way to grandma-chic
3. Three little pendants over an island are being replaced by statement pieces
4. White trim and white walls are being phased out; ox blood, cranberry, mocha, and warm sepia tones are trending
5. Stiff upholstery and synthetic boucle are being swapped for cloud cushions, linen, and shearling upholstery
