Is The Regenerative Gardener’s Handbook worth reading? 🌱

Our co-founder Emily has followed for years, so she was excited to read Briana Selstad Bosch’s new book.

She’s sharing what she loved, what she’s taking into her own garden, and the one thing she wanted more of.

Read her full review here: https://bloomandrootfloral.com/regenerative-gardeners-handbook-review/

Not sponsored. We purchased the book ourselves and genuinely wanted to share our thoughts!

If you want your zinnias to last, when you harvest them matters!

The wiggle test is the easiest way to know when a zinnia is mature enough to cut. And don’t be afraid to cut deep into the plant. Zinnias are cut-and-come-again flowers, so a good harvest encourages even more blooms.

Want to know which zinnias are actually worth growing for cut flowers? I rounded up my favorites (and a few I won’t grow again) on the blog.

Comment ZINNIA and I’ll send you the link!

A little moody flower arranging for all you savage daughters out there…🖤

One of those tiny florist tricks that makes bouquet making so much easier. ✨

A rubber band is one of my favorite ways to secure a bouquet, but how you wrap it makes all the difference.

Save this one for your next bouquet!

Growing flowers, designing with them, sharing what I’ve learned along the way, and somehow getting to call all of it work.

Apples in floral design, YAY or NAY? 🍏

One of my favorite parts of floral design is getting to support local growers wherever I am.

While in Utah, I picked up buckets of locally grown flowers from a flower farmer Barnyard Blooms and turned them into this big, garden-inspired arrangement for a small wedding reception.

Beautiful local blooms, a few unexpected apple are the kind of ingredients that make designing so much fun.
