FOR PICKUP ONLY in Sun Prairie, WI!
Asking $325.00!
Beautiful and rare antique advertising folding wood chair available for pick up only! This gem was manufactured for the Piedmont To***co Company in the 19 teens and features a double-sided blue and white porcelain over metal sign with the harder to find slogan “For Ci******es
Virginia To***co is the Best” on top and “The Virginia Cigarette” on the bottom with the Piedmont Logo in between.
Sign has some small dings to the fields but both sides are in great shape for the age.
Wood folding chair works as intended and has been painted a sage green color that I have not seen before. Most painted versions of this chair are a light mint green color.
Dimensions in sitting position are 31" tall, 21" deep, 16" wide and a seat height of 17” tall.
When in storage position , it’s 16” wide, 2” deep and 38" long. Sign is around 12” x 12”.
Small repairs to the bottom of chair seat are present, but nothing structural.
PICK UP ONLY AVAILABLE in Sun Prairie, WI or will ship at purchaser’s expense.
You will not find a better price for this chair with this version of the sign anywhere!

A few more cool and rare vintage b**r signs available from Antique Harvest! These two beauties are 1950’s era Price Brothers lighted Budweiser B**r signs featuring a fly fisherman trying his luck in the flowing waters and a couple of fellas landing a sweet Muskie while in their cool Old Towne wood canoe.
These glass, plastic and metal signs with hinged cover were part of a scenic outdoor collection that included fishing, national landmarks, favorite pastimes and more. The colorful scenes were made of a plastic film sandwiched between two panes of glass and also included a small glass color Budweiser logo.
Hinged design made for easy access to the fluorescent bulb and other electronic components.
Flaws include only half of old wall hanging chain is left on the fly fishing sign, yellowing to the plastic and hinged shell, scratching, dings and other imperfections as well as cracking around the hanging supports which is very common for these signs. Scenes also have some damage from a liquid that somehow got in the sign just above the fisherman’s head as shown in photo and along the water line in the canoe sign.
Glass reverse painted Budweiser logos were destroyed from decades of fluorescent bulb use, so they were replaced with aftermarket glass panels.
Bulbs turns on from the in-line on/off switch but bulb has some humming noise and wiring has been cobbled together by someone who had it before me.
Sign dimensions are 19 1/2” wide, 13 1/2” tall and depth goes from 1 3/4” at bottom to 3 1/2” deep at top.
