As we wrap up another successful School Supply Drive, we'd like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated. Because of your support, local students will head back to school with the supplies they need to learn, grow, and succeed.

We'd also like to give a special shoutout to two organizations that went above and beyond for local students:

👏 Old Wharf Dogs donated enough school supplies to equip 100 students in our local school districts.

👏 Nate and the team at River Valley Vintage donated more than 20 grocery totes overflowing with school supplies for local children.

These incredible donations, combined with the many contributions from our customers, employees, and community members, are a powerful reminder of what makes this area so special.

We are incredibly grateful and incredibly proud to serve such a generous community. 💙

Tonight's regularly scheduled Palmstreet Live Show is postponed. I will be running a Purge instead. After a week of many vet appointments and not much sleep, I lost my middle cat Solo this afternoon, and I'm just not up for doing a live show. There are coupons pinned in the Purge. Today we dropped off 28 backpacks, nearly 200 notebooks, 220 packs of markers, crayons, and colored pencils, 50 folders, 150 glue sticks and bottles, 700 #2 pencils, over 100 pencil sharpeners, plus erasers, scissors, highlighters, sticky notes, rulers and other school supplies. Thank you so much to our customers who make this possible! Central Penn Bank & Trust is collecting school supplies at all of their branches through the end of July. Walmart and Staples have many school supplies on sale for $0.25 - $1.

All tips we receive on Palmstreet through the end of July will be put towards purchasing school supplies for this school supply drive! We've already picked up lots of backpacks, crayons, markers, colored pencils, notebooks, folders, erasers, glue sticks, and more at heavily discounted prices from Back to School sales.

There's still time to help local students start the school year with confidence. Our School Supply Drive continues through July 31st, and every donation helps provide students in our communities with the supplies they need for a successful school year.
