I dropped off my very first shipment at the post office yesterday, which was the first order that was sent out from my Shopify store. I just HAD to take pictures. I think I will print them out and hang them in my office. It reminded me of taping that first dollar on the wall behind the cash register when I opened T.O.Y.S. (Toys Of Youthful Spirit) in 1991 in Hood River, Oregon. These pictures from yesterday will be something to remind me of humble beginnings and the excitement of creating something from scratch, from an idea in my head, watching it come to fruition. Isn't "something from scratch" much better than something instant, out of the box? Each step, carefully considered and executed and the results are something to admire, to savor, to cherish. That is how I feel right now. I am excited about the new line that I have carefully designed and curated for my customers. I hope that you love it too.
