Hello everyone! First, thank you so much for following me! As you can see, I have been absent for some time now and haven't posted any completed projects. Well, my hiatus is lasting longer than expected. Other projects and endeavors have eaten up my time. I will be back tho and taking orders again. Stay tuned to my page or my Instagram for updates!

Made this Murphy desk for my wife's office when she presented me with one she wanted to buy! I said, "I can make that!" So, I did! One small error in measurement with the legs but overall, I'm extremely happy with the outcome of this desk! It went together nicely, wasn't too difficult to make and was made with about 90% recycled pallet wood! Had some leftover pine lumber I had purchased from my bed frame build last year. Again, very satisfied with my first attempt at a new project! Fyi, last photo is of the one she wanted to buy.

Just finished this customer order! Customer wanted 3, crate style boxes to hold clothing and other garments. Once again, made with 100% recycled pallet wood! I was surprised by how rigid and sturdy they were! Turned out really nice and can even double as step stools!

Some good news and bad. First, the good! We have purchased a new home and are moving soon! However, DJ Originals will be on hiatus until next summer. Some priorities with the new home will have to be taken care of before I can begin any personal projects. I appreciate all who have followed me, liked and shared my posts! I will be back again by summer 2021!

Here's two must have tools for anyone wanting to recycle pallets! My Vestil Deluxe Pallet Buster(Walmart.com) and my Air Locker AP700 nail punch(Amazon.com). These make breaking down pallets so easy! The pallet buster does just that! Busts through those pallets with ease and with little to no waste! The Air Locker punches those stubborn nails right out of the boards! Pry bar, no longer needed! Pick up these great tools for less than $50 each!

Just finished this king size bed frame! 2x6 perimeter with 9, 4x4 legs, 2x3 inlays with 1x4 slat boards! Turned out beautifully for my first try! Really proud of this one! My biggest endeavor yet! 😁🛠
