This was the first model home to be built in the Sun City West community in Az. In 1960 the cost of this iconic home known as the “Pink Charmer” was $8,500! Of course my favorite part about touring this home was to see the decor. I told my husband….let’s hide out in here. After they leave & lock us inside we can pretend like we’re living back in the 1960s!

This little girl almost didn’t make it 💔 she’s a little worn, chippy & was forgotten. I couldn’t let her story end like this…..with a little bit of Love & a homemade bonnet I made from an old raggedy apron, I was able to gently cover up her sweet little imperfect head. Now she stands happy. Proof that a little creativity & care can bring something broken back to life. Rescued, restored & ready for her next chapter!
