All paintings are created using reclaimed or recycled wood. Some from old North Carolina barns that have stood the test of time. Others worn out pallets just looking for a new life. Each piece can be beautifully hung in a living room or treated/sealed to decorate an exterior.

This board is a love letter to the memories that shaped Surf City.

From the iconic old swing bridge to mixtapes, postcards, beach days, family gatherings, and lifelong friendships, this piece celebrates the moments that connect generations. The front features the old swing bridge standing proudly against a colorful coastal sky, a symbol of the countless stories that have crossed its path. The back is a collection of memories from the 1980s to today, woven together through snapshots, keepsakes, and pieces of life along the coast.

Whether you grew up here, vacationed here every summer, or found your forever home here, this board is a reminder that Surf City is more than a place. It’s the people, the laughter, the traditions, and the memories that keep bringing us back.

The mural is the rhythm of coastal life—from salty beach days and rolling waves to the quiet beauty of community, growth, and everyday moments that make this place so special. Bringing their vision to life was so much fun !!

🌊🏛️ Surf’n the City is heading to Town Hall! 🏛️🌊

This is the first of 4 surfboard murals I’ve been working on for the “Surfn’ The City” public art project. Im super excited to be a part of this collaboration of amazing local artists, working together with local business to create their vision. The town board was created to reflect the heart of our community—from the waterways that shape Surf City to the iconic new bridge, wildlife, and everyday moments that make this place home.
A big thank you to the Town of Surf City for supporting public art and creating space for creativity in the heart of our town. 💙
