I’m not good about posting regularly, but I wanted to post our two latest reviews:
Review from the son of one of our recent clients:
STOP!!! There is no where else you need to look. STOP!!! There is no one else you should use or will want to use more than Smooth Transitions of the Valley. Just STOP!!!. Annette and Michael - the owners of the Company - let me repeat that the OWNERS - are involved with every move, every transaction: in-person, over-the-phone, and online so there is never a crossed signal or a "he said she said" moment. They and their Company is simply the best, hands down.
I needed to move my father from his independent home to an Assisted Living facility in Surprise, Arizona. He lived alone, and with a few falls under his belt and onset Alzheimer's - it just had to be done. One of many problems was I live in New Jersey and could not handle the move directly. Enter Smooth Transitions of the Valley. They handled everything. From: meeting with my father; finding out what furniture he wanted in his new place; retrieving a floor plan of the new place and laying out the furniture so everything would fit, not be cluttered etc; to BOXING up his belongings for him; to moving the furniture; to using their own people to box and ship my dad's belongings to his new place AND GET THIS....setting up the new apartment for him. Putting all the furniture where it was meant to go; Filling the closets and drawers with everything exactly as they were in the old place, to setting up the kitchen. THE ONLY THING my dad had to do on moving day was show up mid-afternoon and lie down on his newly made bed turn on the TV and take a nap in his newly furnished apartment (oh and they made sure the new apt had Cox all set up ready to go). My father did not lift a finger, and to be honest from 2500 miles away - neither did I. The Owners, Annette and Michael supervised 100% of the job, dealt with every detail professionally, offered the best of advice and I truly felt like I was the center of their attention. I was 2500 miles away and my octogenarian father was moved with the best care I could ever have imagined possible. Smooth Transitions made sure his old home was swept clean and ready for selling; they found places to donate the things we didn't want and auction off the rest. They even went as far as to find me a moving company to ship the stuff I personally wanted, cross country, for the best price and with people they trust.
Why do I go into such detail about the move. Because I think its important for all of you to know that Smooth Transitions of the Valley and Annette and Michael and their employees literally as well as physically changed our lives for the better. What could be an exhaustive, emotional process to move even just down the street became effortless, breathtakingly easy in their hands and in turn made my father feel safe and me, well, relieved. As I said before STOP!!!!! You want Smooth Transitions of the Valley to handle your move. They do it all or piecemeal but whatever they do for you it will be done SMOOTH.
