🌻 A Little Throwback to Where It All Began! 🌻
I thought I’d share one of my favorite furniture painting projects from several years ago!
Back in 2019, when I first started selling Dixie Belle Paint, this was one of my very first projects. And to this day, it’s still one of my favorites! ❤️
Would you believe that entire harlequin pattern was drawn and painted BY HAND? Yep! No Cricut, no fancy stencil, just a cardboard diamond cutout, a pencil, a ruler, and a whole lot of patience! 😂
I learned this wonderful technique from the incredibly talented Tracey Bellion of Tracey’s Fancy, a Dixie Belle Brand Ambassador. She inspired me to give it a try, and I’m so glad I did!
Looking back, it makes me smile to think about how much I’ve learned and how many wonderful creative adventures I’ve had since those early days.
And you know what? Even with all the tools and techniques available today, there’s still something special about a project that was created the old-fashioned way. ❤️
So tell me, have you ever painted a harlequin pattern? Would you tackle one by hand, or would you reach for your Cricut? 😜
Happy Creating!
