I will be placing another Maurice Brassard yarn order asap. If there’s anything specific you need let me know and I can include it. I know there was a lot of interest in Boucle at the Fiber Fest. If you have any questions about pricing feel free to message me. They don’t have a full catalog for easy browsing so I’m working on compiling one for myself complete with prices.

I’m not limited to just the cotton options and can get anything from their product line. This is just the colors available for 16/2, 8/2, 8/4, 8/8, 8/16 and boucle.

If I scheduled a relaxing and low key weaving class for Aug 22nd from 10am-12:30pm for $45 in Wasilla who would sign up? If I get enough interest I’ll open a class registration link. It would be on rigid heddle looms prewarped with cotton yarn and you’ll customize weft from a large selection of fiber and colors. Everyone will leave class with a fully finished one of a kind handwoven piece to use a table decor, scarf or sew into an accessory like a bag.

Sign up by tonight to jump into this class! We’ll go over how to warp and thread the loom, tie on, hem stitch and then weave your wool tartan scarf. All supplies and looms are included. Wet finishing instructions to do at home will be provided.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the
Mat-Su Valley Fiber Festival! I had an amazing time teaching weaving and making connections. I’m notoriously bad at remembering to take photos but I did take a couple of finished pieces from my last class! Everyone did such beautiful work! I love seeing how everyone experiments with color and texture. If you took my class and have photos of your work please share them here!

Good morning!

I’m giving away one spot to a class time of your choosing to my rigid heddle class at the Mat-Su Fiber Festival at the fairgrounds barn on July 18-19th. My looms are already set up so the entire class will be experiencing the fun and creativity of weaving. We all need a little time to ourselves and crafting can be a great mental health outlet.
