Epic Double-Decker Burger with Fried Chicken and Jalapeños 🍔🍗🌶️
This ultimate burger combines multiple beef patties, fried chicken, melty cheese, and spicy jalapeños. Perfect for a serious appetite!

Ingredients:

For the Burger Patties:

1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)
Salt and pepper to taste
4 slices cheddar or American cheese
For the Fried Chicken:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper to taste
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
1 large egg, beaten
½ cup buttermilk
Oil for frying
Toppings:

Pickled jalapeños, sliced
2 tbsp mayonnaise or burger sauce
1 sesame seed burger bun (use bottom and top buns from two buns for more stability)
Instructions:

Prepare the Fried Chicken:

Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness and season with salt and pepper.
In a shallow dish, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg and buttermilk.
Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, then dip into the egg mixture, and coat again with flour.
Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.
Cook the Burger Patties:

Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape into thin patties. Season each side with salt and pepper.
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Cook each patty for about 2 minutes per side until seared, adding a slice of cheese on top of each patty in the last minute. Stack two patties on top of each other with melted cheese in between.
Assemble the Burger:

Spread mayonnaise or burger sauce on the bottom bun.
Stack the two double-stacked cheeseburgers on the bottom bun.
Place one fried chicken breast on top of the stacked burgers, add sliced pickled jalapeños, and then the second fried chicken breast.
Top with additional sauce if desired, and finish with the top bun. Use a long skewer to secure the burger.
Serve: This mega burger is best shared, or enjoy solo if you’re feeling bold! Serve with extra napkins and a side of fries.

Notes:

For extra flavor, add bacon or BBQ sauce between layers.
If you prefer less heat, use mild pickles instead of jalapeños.

8 oz lo mein or udon noodles
1 lb flank steak or chicken breast, thinly sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp vegetable oil, divided
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
3 green onions, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Mongolian Sauce:

¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup hoisin sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
½ cup water
1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (for thickening, optional)
Instructions:

Prepare Noodles: Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Season and Coat Steak/Chicken: Season sliced steak or chicken with salt and pepper, then toss with 2 tbsp cornstarch to lightly coat.

Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and water. Pour sauce into the skillet with the vegetables. Bring to a simmer, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly. If you want a thicker sauce, stir in the cornstarch slurry.

Combine Everything: Add cooked noodles and the seared meat to the skillet, tossing everything to coat in the Mongolian sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.

Serve: Garnish with extra green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
