🌻 KINDNESS PAYS IT FORWARD 🌻
Today I was reminded why I love living in a small town.
On my way to the shop this afternoon, I accidentally left my phone sitting on the hood of my car. Somewhere along the way it fell off, and I had no idea it was gone.
I noticed a car behind me honking and following me, but I wasn't sure what was going on. When I pulled into the parking lot, two young men called me over. At first I thought they were asking if I was lost.
Instead, they held up my phone.
These gentlemen had seen it come off my car, stopped to pick it up, and then followed me across town just to make sure it got back to me.
They didn't have to do that.
In a world where we're constantly told to be suspicious of one another, these two young men chose kindness. They took time out of their day to help a complete stranger simply because it was the right thing to do.
As the Georgette, I would like to personally thank them.
If this post reaches you, please stop by the shop next week. We'd like to give a complimentary bouquet to your mother, wife, grandmother, daughter, girlfriend, or any special person you'd like to honor as a small thank-you for your kindness.
We've been serving this community since 1937, and moments like this remind us why we're proud to call Swainsboro home.
If you know who these young men are, please tag them or share this post so we can thank them properly.
Kindness matters. Good neighbors matter. And today, two young men reminded me of that.
❤️ Thank you Swainsboro from the Georgettes of The George's Flower Shop
