Nitty Gritty Girls

Nitty Gritty Girls Two hip chicks creating unique furniture pieces out of garage sale, road-side, (and sometimes) dumpster finds. Find us at

Sad and discarded “hidden treasures” come alive and find new purpose with our magic touch. Together since 1998, and using salvaged materials, not only before they found each other, but way before it became vogue, these soul sisters created unique and functional pieces for practical people, as well as those who prefer subtle sophistication. Each brings a unique talent, eye, or specialty to the tab

le. These bodacious besties design and make vintage inspired, retro-cool, or simply modern pieces that are beautiful as well as functional. Many remarkable items have come from their unconventional and off beat perspective. Whether it was a dumpster, old barn, or yard sale reject, no stone has been left unturned by this determined duo. Always in search of sad, damaged or broken items that were headed for the landfill, or nearest bonfire, they have crawled in basements, spent time hunched over in attics, and going in one barn door, while the four legged occupants ran out another! After laboring many hours, they can humbly present pieces that are distinctive, exceptional, and unique.

❤️A heartfelt message to our very special followers 😢

Attention Nitty Gritty Groupies! We have an announcement to make. It's a mix of good news, and, depending, probably not so good news. Right now at Revival is a booth-wide (sans jewelry and fabric) 40% off SALE!! 😲So go get your goodies, your gifts to yourself, or perhaps a gift for Mom or Dad. This sale will last till the end of the month. That's the good news. The not so good news? At the end of the month, the Nitty Gritty Garage is shutting down. After six years, we have to call it quits. We have learned so much from all of you and from each other. I will miss my Nitty. We always have a good time whenever we are together, and I will miss that. There have been SO many belly laughs, so many crazy moments, so much silliness. From a weekend trip at Disney, to April cowering in an attic and refusing to move.😬In her defense, it was a bit nasty, it's just a good thing I don't let spiders, dead bats, dirty old spiderwebs that stick to your face get the better of me! Every time Nitty said "What's that? do you think it will come off"? I could not help but lick my finger and try to rub it away, I will miss the horrified look on her face, and watching her gag. 🤢Hopefully in between all this jocularity, we were able to provide you with great pieces at great prices. We want to thank all of you for all the encouragement you gave us, the positive remarks, and very kind words you were so generous to share. 💕❤️💕We could not have done it without you. So go to Revival, see what we have, and treat yourself one last time.
(As the booth empties, we will be bringing unfinished pieces up that we never got to or only just started. You will have the opportunity to DIY on some of these little gems)

Well that didn’t last long. I didn’t even get a chance to post the staged pictures of Sandy, before she sold. We dropped her off yesterday. Sold today.

Built completely out of recycled materials. Old table legs, wooden bed rails, lathing strips, and an industrial roller “thingy” as seen in the last photo. The entire blue section and the large roller was one piece we salvaged. If anyone knows what it used to be, please let us know. We left it intact even tho it wasn’t needed to create this table.

A huge thank you to Ruth from Gettysburg, PA.
She stopped into Revival, fell in love with this antique cabinet we had in the booth, and regretted not taking it home with her. We packed it up and shipped it to her, and we are so pleased she shared the photo with us! Her colorful collection of old Watkins tins are displayed beautufully, don’t you think?❤️
