I am a wife, mother to 3 wonderful children, 1 fur baby and Grandma to 1 grandchild. I enjoy quilting, sewing, being a mom, Mimi, visiting my younger two children in college, college football, reading, baking and spending time with my family and friends, and making my clients smile when they receive their custom order. der. After my younger two children started high school, I started sewing once again. I enjoy being in my sewing room creating new quilts and other products. My sewing room is my happy place. It is a place where I can get so lost in the creation of a new quilt or another product, that I lose track of all time. Mimi's Quilts and More was created in January 2015 with the encouragement of my husband and children to sell my quilts. Since then I have been taking part in local craft shows and offering custom made orders. In 2019, I launched my online website. In March of 2022, after doing much research my husband and I added a Janome Quilt Maker Pro Long Arm Quilting Machine to my business. This Long Arm Quilting machine expands my services to include machine quilting. Offering machine quilting services to my clients helps them finalize their beautifully pieced quilt tops into much loved quilts. I treat each client like they were a member of my family.
