The song on repeat in my brain today haha. 150 bud vases down (stayed up way too late doing that) all the big pieces greened in, time for lunch! Then to finish all the big pieces before hopefully sleeping! Florists work hard for you! I can’t tell you the number of hours Flowers By Emelia and I have worked for weddings. We love bringing beauty to the world!

Well flower are keeping me from the Sycamore Farmers Market. All of these gorgeous flowers to be exact. The Dahlias from Atrina Farms are soo stunning! Head out and support local while I dive into wedding prep!

Last night was a wonderful night filled with love and support for our Haitian neighbors. I’m exhausted from talking to so many incredible people, but it’s always worth it for a cause near to my heart. Even my flowers made it to the evening!

Over the last 25 years, Hope for Haitians constructed 860 homes, sheltering nearly 5,000 people.

Special project time! I’ve had the honor of working for the incredible people of Haiti for the last four years, and this weekend I get to make center pieces for our 25th anniversary dinner! The Haitian flag 🇭🇹 is red and blue 😊

Normally we harvest our apples in waves so we don’t have to process them all at once. Nature had different plans haha. One of our trees came down in a recent storm and our dining room is covered in hundreds of apples 😵‍💫 sooo… my dream of making apple c***r came true! We had to get creative with the pressing process but it was so worth it! After making jar after jar of apple sauce, fruit leather, and dried apple rings, apple c***r is perfection!
