I've been a sucker for seersucker since watching that underrated 'occult detective fiction' Kolchak The Night Stalker in the 70's over at the Lynch's house.
But (cue the beep to scroll to the next image) I didn't know it was available in ALL WHITE, and 100% cotton. I'm pretty thrilled with how the first yards washed up. It's super soft and billowy. Just dreamy.
Prepare for SUMMER POD-SACKS of some sort. I'm starting the first one today. Uhhh — unless I spend too mush time internetting about the details of Kolchak's typewriter. I'll make a couple pieces, then garment-dye them, so we'll see if we get stripes. No stripes? Muted stripes? Not exactly a whodunnit or monster hunt but suspenseful enough for me. —helen
