So you know that I've taken up sewing again. I was telling my hubby what I had in mind for making pants for Ridgley and he pulled out a few of his flannels for me. I love how these turned out. One flannel was a tad bit too short so I added from the other...and the pocket. Yes, I plan to make more. Anyone want to donate flannel shirts or dress shirts? 😀

Years ago I used to sew a lot of children's clothes, mostly for Dann, but Deborah Valentino and I used to sell at Rancocas every month. Of course I got rid of all of my patterns, hind sight, not smart. But I found this cute pattern by .

I was working on book sleeves today and my sister mentioned that she didn't think many people read actual books anymore, they are reading using a Kindle or device. So ... do you read actual books? Would you purchase a book sleeve or bookmark? These fit over the upper corner of book pages to save your spot.

I went to a yard sale the other weekend and a woman was selling her mother's quilting fabric stash, all precut batches. Of course I couldn't help myself. My mom taught me to sew when I was young and fabric is one of my first loves. Working on wristlet keychains. Need to refresh myself to sewing straight lines. 😂
