Started the mold for my first tankard shape and handle yesterday, but met the end of my 50lbs of plaster and can't get more until Tuesday! After I get more, ill be able to finish this as well as a mold for a base tumbler shape 🍻 I'm so excited to add some variety to my ceramics.
Ill be able to cast my first Bernie by this weekend!

Bernie's mold is done! It was a mission, and my studio is an absolute disaster, but its done! It will need about 2 weeks to fully dry, so in the meantime I'll be working on some base tankard and monster molds. Now. I need a nap 😅

Not tiki, but its my last ceramic piece of the year, and if you've seen my stories, you know I love DnD! This is a tankard mimic I hand built with slabs for my husband and favorite Dungeon Master. I am in the process of making a slip mold for a basic tankard, and a Mimic tankard, so I can do more mugs like these in the future 😄

Thought I'd share some stills of Bernie! We will be getting the mold box made in the next few daysish, then I'll start building the mold, then impatiently wait for it to dry 😄 If you haven't seen Weekend at Bernie's, what are you waiting for! The second one is great too!
