Hello Facebook, I am very excited to be starting my page for my fiber creations. 🧶 I took up crocheting when I was pregnant with my first born, Khayson. I recall an emotional response when I realized my great-grandma Mathilda Romias wouldn't be able to crochet my baby an outfit, because she had passed away when I was young. I have very fond memories tied to crochet. One of which watching my other late great-grandma Eva Cruz and my late great-aunt Roberta Galacia crochet and knit blankets on blankets throughout my childhood. I recall being excited when gifted crochet slippers 🧦, because they were oh so fun on our hardwood floors! I self-taught myself to crochet and began to gift regularly to people expecting babies or to simply put a smile on someone's face. In 2017, I experienced a stillbirth with my daughter, Khayliana, and I turned to crochet a lot to cope with our loss. 👼 During my grieving process is when my love for crochet and skills strengthened. This is the story behind Angel Stitches. I am very happy and grateful to be able to share these creations with you in honor of my angels that fuel my passion. ❤️
