CAC is a leading manufacturer of clays and glazes as well as a supplier of raw materials, tools and equipment. Local delivery is available for orders with at least 1000 # of clay, equipment delivery is available for a fee. Freight service is also available for customers outside of our service area. We offer discounts to schools and members of the Washington Clay Arts Association/NW Tile/Oregon Potter's Association.

Making consistently flat and unwarped tiles is a challenge not to be taken lightly! Clay memory can be so unforgiving and warps can happen at every stage of the process.

NEW CLAY ALERT! Please welcome Walnut to our lineup of midrange clay bodies! Now available to purchase online and in-store.

Walnut fires to a pleasant light brown color in oxidation firings. Smooth textured and great for the wheel or hand building. Excellent glaze fit and very vitreous at Cone 6 with 0.03% absorbtion. Contains no manganese however iron specks that show through glazes may develop from natural iron in the materials.
