Little Harvesters Session 2!

Join us at our homestead-in-training for another FREE fun filled day of hands on learning! RSVP via DM!

-Wear closed toed shoes and clothes to get dirty in. Bring a light snack for break. I WILL BE PROVIDING “WORMS AND DIRT” (pudding, oreos, and gummy worms). I will be using dye free for these items and organic when possible :)

Of course, bring a lunch if you want to stay for free play afterward and hang out.

SESSION 2: SOIL AND DIRT

Ages 3-5 | 2 Hrs | 3 activities

**PLEASE BRING GARDEN GLOVES AND/OR SMALL SHOVELS**

Farm Chore:

-Fill up the garden beds by layering materials

-Learn about seasonal planting (plant onions if there is time)

-Read aloud (fiction)

Science:

-Compare soil types

-What is “living soil”?

-Why do we need to layer a garden bed?

Nature Craft:

-Harvest Heads (Chia Pet)

Snack:

-Worms & dirt
