Mutant Anglerfish depth map and engraving pass in wood. I recreated a very small part of "The Garden of Earthly Delights" one of the most famous paintings by the Dutch artist Hieronymus Bosch. Engraved on poplar wood using my 5watt OMG UV laser.

I promised I’d share the first tool, and here it is—a greyscale illusion engraving tool. For this demo, I used a round semi–bas-relief style image, but it works with nearly any image with about a 95% success rate.
