My name is Katie and I am a lover of all things crafty (hence my name, Crafty Kat). I was born and raised in Wisconsin and that Midwest mindset has carried with me to Florida where I now reside. I am a mom to two beautiful girls and a wife to my high school sweetheart. When it comes to my shop, I love to take colors from my favorite season and use them in my creations. You will see lots of earthy

tones and textures in my makes and they remind me so much of fall back in Wisconsin. The boho farmhouse style is my jam and it is so fun to make both everyday and seasonal items for the home. Lately I have started to incorporate some gift items as well such as cuddly plushies. You will find that I use many mediums when creating as well. I love to do a bit of everything - crochet, macramé, painting, jewelry making... it is all here for you to enjoy!

Something beautiful is in the works. I am in love with these colors and cannot wait to show you what it looks like when it is finished! I am currently pretesting the Desert Bloom blanket for The Twisted Ho**er and I am so in love with these colors texture and floral pattern that this one has!

Ace the Alligator 🐊

I finally got around to making this big guy and he already has a new forever home. I usually stick to traditional animal colors but something about this teal variegated yarn screamed alligator to me.

Happy release day to The Twisted Ho**er! The Seaside Bloom Crossbody Bag is live!

I absolutely love this pattern and it is so fun to make. There are so many color possibilities with this one. The sizing is perfect for toddlers but you can use a thicker yarn and larger hook to create a larger size for older kiddos.

Is there anything cuter than a toddler with a purse? Something about a little one mimicking the women around them is just too adorable! I was so excited to capture this shot of my little model. The outfit, the pose, the blanket and the scenery… perfection!
