My name is Katie and I am a lover of all things crafty (hence my name, Crafty Kat). I was born and raised in Wisconsin and that Midwest mindset has carried with me to Florida where I now reside. I am a mom to two beautiful girls and a wife to my high school sweetheart. When it comes to my shop, I love to take colors from my favorite season and use them in my creations. You will see lots of earthy

tones and textures in my makes and they remind me so much of fall back in Wisconsin. The boho farmhouse style is my jam and it is so fun to make both everyday and seasonal items for the home. Lately I have started to incorporate some gift items as well such as cuddly plushies. You will find that I use many mediums when creating as well. I love to do a bit of everything - crochet, macramé, painting, jewelry making... it is all here for you to enjoy!

Another custom order completed. This order required me to make 4 plushies of the same pup who has sadly crossed the rainbow bridge. What makes these pups extra special is that they each have ashes in a pouch sewn inside them. I was honored to make these sweet babies.

🥧 The Pie Shop Hoops pattern releases TODAY!

🥧 I am so proud of Britt over at 🌸 Threads in Bloom | Britt for creating this one! The pattern has so many different crust, fruit and base options to make 8+ pies!! You can adjust the amount of rows to create larger or smaller pies too!! They are just the cutest things ever.

It’s shark week! These are the sharks I created these sharks in participation with Common Knots featuring Poms and Posies.

Do you have a favorite shark? Mine is definitely the whale shark. I had the most amazing experience seeing 2 in Atlanta, GA at the aquarium and it was the coolest!! They are so large and majestic.

🌸 It’s release day for the Bloom Hoop pattern by 🌸 Threads in Bloom | Britt and it is now LIVE! I am so excited for everyone to have a chance to create these!! There are endless color possibilities, arrangements and aesthetics to make these in! Britt truly created a gorgeous pattern to show off your creative side!

The pattern is written for 6” embroidery hoops, but you can easily adjust for larger hoops as well. Shown here are a 6” and 8” hoop. Just use a larger hook with an extra round of increases to fit that size!
