Sol Design Studio is proud to announce Mickey Rushing as Partner. After expanding his architectural voice and leadership experience through work in California, Oregon, and Florida, Mickey returned to Sol Design Studio three years ago as an Associate, bringing renewed perspective, creative discipline, and a collaborative team spirit, sharpened by a wit and dry sarcasm. A graduate of the AIA Jacobs Leadership Institute, Mickey has helped guide projects across hospitality, residential, retail, and corporate design with care and imagination. We are proud to celebrate his continued growth and welcome him into ownership at Sol Design Studio.

Today, the Sol Design team walked the bones of the future.

At Monin’s new 38,000-square-foot corporate headquarters, the story is already taking shape, masonry walls rising toward their final line, steel finding its place, stormwater systems coming alive beneath our feet, and the PV parking canopy quietly claiming its role in the Masterplan.

A building in motion. Systems speaking to one another. Intent becoming form.

Grateful to ABI for guiding our office through the site and sharing in this moment where vision meets reality.

Honored to be part of bringing the Lions World Vision Institute Vision Health Center to Ybor City. Our design respects Ybor’s history, character, and cultural fabric while contributing thoughtfully to its future.
Grateful for the collaboration with the Barrio Latino Commission, and for the guidance of Dennis Fernandez and Ron Vila throughout the process. Proud to work alongside Lions World Vision and excited to partner with CSI as this project moves toward construction in 2026.
