When a home is designed well, daily routines feel lighter and gatherings unfold with ease. That was the priority in this space. We focused on creating a seamless connection between the kitchen and living areas so cooking, hosting, relaxing, and everyday life can all happen together without ever feeling chaotic.

Every detail was considered, from traffic flow and lighting placement to storage solutions, all working quietly in the background. Because the best design isn’t always seen first, it’s felt in how naturally it supports the way you live.

The way I design today really started in one unforgettable house. At a young age, I was shaped by my uncle, Enrique Gutierrez, a prolific architect and early pioneer of Cuban-inspired architecture in Miami. His home was layered with antiques, African artifacts, modern pieces, and a remarkable collection of contemporary Latin American art. Nothing matched, and that was the point.

That experience has stayed with me and continues to inform the way I design today. I’m drawn to spaces that feel curated over time rather than assembled all at once; homes that reflect history, personality, and a sense of discovery in every layer. For me, the best interiors are the ones that feel as though they’ve always been evolving.
