One of the best parts of designing in is working with the sunshine and spectacular surroundings, but it’s the connection to the outdoors that truly elevates the space. Quietly intentional, this kitchen lets the view do the talking.

We kept the palette bright, the lines clean, and the details restrained so the outdoors feel uninterrupted within the experience of the room. And it truly delivers. Lush palms, waterfront shimmer, and coastal light that shifts the mood throughout the day. It's classic coastal living, but refined.

Knowing exactly where to repeat a detail is what intentional design is all about. By introducing a vibrant coral trim on the custom drapery and carrying that same tone onto the bed pillows, we created a visual continuity that guides the eye naturally throughout the space.

Instead of feeling isolated, the bold accent becomes a cohesive thread. Paired with textured grasscloth walls and soft blue neutrals, every element works together to create a room that is deeply intentional, which lies at the very heart of how we design.

If a home has this much personality, the furniture should keep up! A standard layout felt way too predictable for this space, so we centered the room around a custom curved sectional that creates its own moment architecturally while making the whole space feel more intimate.

Now the fireplace, the view, the bar, and the conversation all flow together naturally. Add a little bold color and a lot of personality, and suddenly the room feels less designed and more personal.

The key is creating continuity with just enough contrast. In this kitchen, the sculptural lighting and deep blue seating give the eye somewhere to land while the seamless cabinetry and warm wood floors keep everything connected.
