In the studio with our Art & Aces florals, capturing every angle before heading to the Tampa Museum of Art.

Flowers with somewhere to be and a good cause to support. Honored to support an evening benefiting the museum’s Youth Council teen programs and the next generation of creatives.

A little behind the scenes of creating these stage florals for the Ryan Nece Foundation’s 20th Anniversary Power of Giving Gala.

For 20 years, the foundation has been investing in the next generation of servant leaders, empowering students to recognize their ability to make an impact in their own communities. This year’s gala celebrated that work, the students behind it, and the power that comes from giving back.

For the stage, we took that celebration quite literally. Foraged foliage, sculptural palms, layers of blue and gold, and white roses transformed into two statement pieces designed to frame the podium and command a little stage presence of their own, along with a coordinating floral piece for the fireside chat on stage.

Very grateful to have had a small part in such a meaningful night, and to my friend Melissa Neeley for trusting Black Petal with the stage.
