This is a two for one video! The bathroom refresh made a huge difference without any major changes at all! The second one brings an AI bedroom idea to life!

My favorite transformation is the bathroom! The character of years’ past was preserved and turned into such a fun space for today’s living!

Which one was your favorite transformation?

This is in loving memory of my beautiful lab, Ryleigh (left), who passed away a couple days ago, and her sister, Harper (right), who passed away less than a year ago.

Eleven years ago, their photo was selected in a contest and turned into a meme. They truly brought out the best in one another, and now they are together again at Rainbow Bridge. 🌈

True story…

In 1999, I taught first grade! AND…this is a craft we also did in my classroom that year! It’s an oldie but goodie!

Enjoy!

Ok…I stole this one from a friend! But, I know some of you will appreciate the level of craftiness…literally and figuratively! 😂

If I suddenly win the lottery, there would be signs, and this would be one of them!

It encompasses everything I could dream…a love of literature, a vintage typewriter, and amazing art as the result!

For me…this is ! Anyone else feel the same?

I’m incredibly excited to announce that Authors in Type, my new exhibition of typewriter art, opens 6 October at Colchester Library.

50 portraits of some of the world’s greatest authors, each created entirely by hand using a typewriter, thousands of individual letters, numbers and punctuation marks.

From Shakespeare and Jane Austen to Ernest Hemingway and Stephen King, there’s plenty to discover in every portrait.

Colchester Library, Trinity Square, CO1 1JB
6 October – 3 November 2026
Free entry, no booking required
