You haven't seen me on the workshop schedule before because truth be told, teaching crafts is NOT my strong suit 😂
But I was blessed with the gift of gab, and I’m a pretty great hype woman, so today's Sunday Table gathering felt right up my alley.
Sunday Table is something we are hosting once a month here at One Amazing Find. The idea is simple. Gather together, bring any project you’re working on, take a seat, and spend time creating and connecting with others doing the same. No pressure. No perfection. Just community and creativity.
Our first guest brought in a chunky knit blanket she was almost finished with and just needed a little extra help. Thankfully, she’s a great customer of ours, because it took one look at her project for me to realize I needed the big guns. Sure enough, one phone call to Chrisi, and within 20 minutes that project was well on its way to being complete ❤️
We also had a group of friends painting wine glasses (which may be my project next month!) and one of my dearest friends, Nina, came and worked on a paint-by-number kit. We only made it to number 3 😉 But that wasn’t really the point. It made me so happy to sit beside her, hear about what she’s working on, and simply slow down long enough to connect.
So if you’ve ever thought, “I’m not really crafty enough for a full-on workshop,” Sunday Table might be exactly for you. If you’ve been wanting to slow down a little bit, come spend some time creating alongside other people - or reconnect with a friend and make a friend date at the shop. Just grab some crafty supplies and join us ❤️
Our next Sunday Table is June 28th. I’ll bring the cookies, and together we’ll find something to create, connect over, and enjoy!
